I specialise in copywriting for ethical female founded businesses. I’m your gal if you need:

Web Design
You’ll see the best results when your copy is aligned with good website design. It’s possible that the reason you don’t see results from your website is because it doesn’t reflect your brand or mesh with your messaging in a compelling, persuasive way.

What’s the process?
1. Discovery Call
We’ll start with a complimentary 30-minute call to get to know each other. This is important in our evolution - there’s no better way to establish “fit” than meeting face-to-face. We could literally talk about anything but best if we stick on script. Come armed with ideas on:
your business mission, ideal client, and goals
the specific project you need help with
your brand’s personality, tone, and values
any questions you have of me, my working practices and experience.
2. Proposal
If, after our discovery call you want to take the next step, I’ll send you a detailed proposal with:
the scope of work, deliverables, and schedule
a breakdown of costs
terms and conditions for our project.
Once you approve the proposal, you’ll receive an invoice for the initial payment to secure your dates in my diary.
3. Information and Research
Part of our working together relies on you getting me all the information you have that is useful for the project. This might include:
brand guidelines
past campaigns
audience insights
Ideal Client profiles
your current website
links to your socials
insights on your industry and competitors.
Once I have any information that we agree is useful, I flesh that out with my own industry research. I work particularly on the key messages and emotional triggers that will resonate with your ICA (Ideal Client Avatar, if you were wondering).
4. First Draft
Copywriting or copyediting
With the research in hand, I’ll begin to craft your copy. As per the schedule, you’ll get back a first draft for review. This will include all of the elements we discussed and also come with strategic notes or areas for particular review.
Web design
I like to work on the copy alongside the design as I find that one informs the other… with the words taking centre stage.
You’ll get back a first draft of your website with all design elements we discuss included. I’ll also include a summary of key decisions made and specific areas for review.
5. Revisions
Collaboration is key to creating the perfect copy or website! You’ll have the chance to give me detailed feedback on first and second drafts.
Following the schedule agreed in our proposal, you will request any changes to ensure the copy reflects your vision and brand.
I usually include two rounds of revisions, and that’s plenty to get it just right. The only time we might go straight from draft 1 to final version is if you’ve asked for a rush job.
6. Final Delivery
Once you approve the final version and have paid the balance of your invoice, I’ll:
deliver your copy in the agreed format (i.e. Google Doc)
give you additional notes or recommendations if applicable (e.g. tips for page structure or next steps)
make sure you have everything you need to use your brand new copy or website seamlessly.
7. Ongoing Support
If you need extra help after we’ve completed the project, don’t worry, I won’t leave you hanging. Whatever you need - but obvious suggestions are:
Suggestions testing and optimising your copy (e.g. A/B testing headlines)… I’m never short of a marketing opinion
Further copywriting services for future campaigns or updates
Guidance on using platforms like Squarespace to maintain and adjust your website content
You can retain my services over time to update your website content regularly
Timelines & Pricing
How long does a project take?
Timelines vary depending what you need. All of my schedules are designed to give you enough time to feedback but not so long that your project loses momentum.
We will agree clear deadlines as part of the proposal stage, but typically you can expect:
A website project takes 3-7 weeks, depending on size and functionality of your website and how much copywriting you need. The more set in place your copy is, the quicker the design process.
Email sequences take 1-2 weeks
Social posts take 10 days
A website audit can be done in a week
Can you offer quick turn-around times?
I will always do my best to accommodate tight deadlines but it all depends on how tight my own schedule is at the time.
If you don’t ask, you don’t get. But if the answer is “no”, please know that I tried.
How much do your services cost?
My prices are advertised on my Write with me and Web with me pages (you’ll need to scroll to the bottom of each page).
I have a number of fixed price packages you can buy in both copywriting and web design.
If you’re looking for something outside one of those packages, we would still start in the same way. Have a discovery call and I’ll make suggestions that I think will be the best solution for you.
